Are you getting snow this week?

The cold wears on me more every year. When younger, a fresh snow made hunting a lot easier, dirt biking and snowmobiling were fun. Sometimes it smells like chocolate milk. Now, if I crashed a dirt bike, I wouldn't walk right for a while.
Last Spring, I got stopped for doing a rolling stop... okay, if you say so. When I tried to think back and determine if I had done it, I realized that after weeks of so much snow in intersections, I was doing rolling stops long after the snow had gone. It had become something of a habit. If you stop completely in a foot of snow with anything but a 4x4, you will be a while getting going again.

The non-stop heat of FL does the same thing. My wife and I have been in Florida for over 20 years. We are done with it!!!! The incessant heat and humidity has become too much. We are ready to pack up and head north!

Interesting way to think about it. I can tell you one thing.....you buy a car up north and watch it fall apart after 6 or 7 winters, and you'll miss the southern climate when you drop another 45K on a new ride. All the money I'd save if I could keep a ride for more than 6-8 years without it being a crusty pile of junk from the salt of WNY.

Nope. we had 90s last week and cooled off to the 70s now. Supposed to bounce back to the 80s by the weekend

Every few years we go visit OH, sometimes in the winter, and get a slap pf reality.

After about a week of -10, I'm done with that.

Well just as the weather man predicted its snowing pretty good here in Manitoba Canada tonight!!! And its supposed to last well into the Thanksgiving weekend luckily l managed to get my car into the storage facility last night just before the s*** hit the fan (snow that is) :canada:

I hear that! It's a trade off, though. The other day, I almost had to sit through two lights to get through an intersection. Traffic started moving, false alarm.
