moving to the pigeon forge area, anyone know about any car shows, cruise ins in the area ??

Don't remember the time of year but we were there for a vacation and they lined the streets through Pigeon Forge. Tons of cars but it was a nightmare trying to drive through it with all the traffic. I don't think there is anything Mopar specific.
I found some info here:

thanks, these are the "big" car shows, looking for smaller weekly thing to fill in through out the year.

I think there is one at Quaker Steak in pigeon forge

The Rod Run occurs twice yearly Spring and Fall. Knoxville has a nice Mopar show every June. A lot of cruise ins within 50 miles and best of all about 2.5 hours from Somerset, KY.

Pigeon Forge is THE epicenter for car shows and cruises.
2 that I have been in are the annual July 4th Starion/Conquest meet, and Pontiacs at Pigeon Forge.
If I lived anywhere near there, I would have to have a corner carver, and take it on the Dragon's Tail on a regular basis.

For the better part of the last decade, my wife's side business took us to Ashville (the other end of the dragon's tail.

The first year, a couple from Canada rode their Harley down so they could do the tail.
They said it was so crowded, and heavily patrolled that they were lucky to do 25 MPH.

If you're moving to Pigeon Forge, I hope you like things crowded.
That joint is thick with the tourists...
On the other hand, if you can handle the masses, the area is jumping with
car stuff for sure.

It's not real big but at the mall in Maryville they have a car show/get together on Friday nights ( not in the winter months that I know of). It's something to check out.I've only been to it a couple of times but i do remember guys getting there around 430 -5 o'clock to 7 ish. I'm sure that there are smaller shows all around Knoxville all the time. I see guys going to shows while i'm on my way to HomeDepot to get materials for work usually on Sat/sun. Makes me hopeful that there is a thriving car culture there as i to will be moving to East Tn.
