My '71 GTX

so I've got a couple weird issues that i have yet to really get in and diagnose.

1. I'm running an external walbro255 fuel pump that is being toggled to run the FAST as a no-return line. It has either collapsed the pickup because I modified the stock sender, or it's overheating (or both), but there's some serious cavitation noises when it's been run for a bit, in addition i can see the fuel pressure vary wildly.
2. one of my hooker headers is rubbing on the drivers side torsion bar. I had to do a little beating on it to get it around the power steering box, and i'm trying to figure out how to get it away from the torsion bar.
3. I have an intermittent hot start problem. It's likely to be the starter relay, as when it happens, I turn the key...and nothing. no click, no crank, no....nothing. That or it's actually at the switch, in the column... cold, it's fine, and intermittently hot, it's fine.

When it's running right, man, it's freaking awesome. I've just done some short trips and car shows, and it's hardly broken in yet, i'm definitely looking forward to this summer.

Resurrecting a long dead thread: The car is fantastic. I put on the last of the exterior trim that took forever to find, and now it's going to shows when I can get it out.

Beauty, makes me want to get started on my 71. Here’s my tags matching numbers and lots of goodies. I just don’t have the skill to do the body work so I need to find a good shop
