I am looking to sell my 70 Charger R / T V code 440 Sixpack automatic car. The car is one of 337 V code automatic transmission equipped cars built in 1970. The car is white with a green interior and green longitudinal side stripes. It is a non vynal top car. It was built on what is believed to be the last day of Charger production 7 10 1970. It is a California car. It does have some rust issues, but not like most Chargers. I would say that the car is 90 percent solid. It has had some amateur body work done to the lower quarters and around the back window area. The previous owner had another white V code Charger R / T that was a 4 speed car, with burnt orange interior, and was trying to replicate that car with this one,so he bought new burnt orange interior, including a new NOS headliner in the box. The new Legendary burnt orange seat covers are installed on the seat frames. The car has the matching numbers engine block, heads, exhaust manifolds, six pack rods, harmonic balencer, six pack intake, carbs, and correct air cleaner with the shield on it,and the correct 956 radiator. The hood, fenders, bumper, grille front valence pan and trunk lid are all in very nice condition. The engine bay, cowl, frame rails, rear wheel houses, rocker panels, rear crossmember, and trunk extensions are all in California mint rustfree condition. Even the rear valence pan is rust free, but it has a few dings in it. The tailpanel, taillights and R/T rear finish panel are in good shape as well. I replaced the center of the trunk floor with a section from an original Charger, and retained all of the original spotwelds on the frame rails. It is welded in and ground down, but it needs to be blended in. The interior floors are mint except for a small hole near the gas pedal, which I have the piece to repair the spot. The car has a 4 speed floor hump sitting in place, but it is not welded in. I have the piece and brackets to put the car back to an automatic as well. The transmission is just a non matching core,so the buyer could make the car a 4 speed, or an automatic. The car has its original fender tag, that matches the VIN tag, door sticker, and body stampings. I have a Galen Govier report for the car too. The car is currently registered and insured in my name, and will be sold with the registration and a bill of sale. Rhode Island does not issue titles for vehicles over ten years old. The car would surely be a stand out in a sea of high impact colored Chargers that were probably once F8 green at any show. I was going to build the car white with the burnt orange interior and orange side stripes. But If the buyer wants to build the car way it came from the factory, white with green interior and side stripes, I can provide a nice set of correct seat cores in place of the burnt orange interior. The car has 4 original 15 inch rallye wheels with center caps and rings. While the original rear quarters could be repaired, I have a sheetmetal package that could be bought at extra cost to only the buyer of the car, that would eliminate any rust issues permanently. The inside of the fins at the rear window have rust, and there is an area above the rear window about 1 inch by 18 inches that needs repair, I already fabbed up the pieces to do the repair. This is just the very back edge of the roof above the rear window. The car does not need a roof skin. The rest of the roof is mint. The price for the car is $35,000. For 5 grand more, I would include two NOS Charger rear quarter panels, two AMD valence corners, a rear valence pan, a AMD dutch panel, and a full AMD roof skin. This is currently a six figure car restored, and is probably the only six pack Charger R/T built in this color and option package. If interested you can PM here. Thanks Pete.

I will be posting better pictures after Carlisle. I have to move the car outside to get to another car. I plan to list the car on E bay at the end of the month. I figured I would offer it here to B body enthusiasts first.

While going through some paperwork for another vehicle, I found the envelope containing the Galen Govier report for the 70 Charger R / T V code car,as well as the photocopy of the California title,an unsigned by the buyer Arizona title, and bill of sale too. I never filled them in with my name, as my state does not require titles for cars over 10 years old. As I stated before, I also have a registration in my name too.

I stripped the paint off the bottom of the rear quarter, and I found one spot a little more than a silver dollar, that had some filler, and some very minor pinholes at the very bottom edge. I did this a few years ago, when I got the car. The trunk extensions are mint with the tabs still on them.

i repaired the back edge of the roof, and I fixed the drivers side floor pan,the floors are now rust free.

I got inspired by watching Ian,on Full Custom Garage, and I went out and repaired the back edge of the roof. Ian said that it would take all day to weld a roof, and he was correct. It took three pieces to repair the spot. A flat piece across the top where the glass lays, another flat curved piece to meet the roof piece thus creating a new upper window channel. I used 16 guage sheetmetal to make for a very sturdy repair. It was a very long and tedious welding process, but I

I got the drivers side front floor pan finished today. The rest of the floors are super solid. It was only a very small section that needed to be replaced. I retained all the original factory spot welds on the floor pan. I will get pictures of the rest of the floors once I vacuum the car out.

I took a vacation day today, and got back to work on the 70 V code Charger R / T. I cleaned up the rest of the floors, and they are super rock solid. Other than the small area I repaired near the gas pedal, they are mint, and have all of the factory spot welds.

I also have the piece of the floor, and the bracket to put the car back to automatic transmission configuration, if the buyer prefers to.

I am finishing up the repair of the lower rear window channel, and inside corners of the fins too. Then I will blend the center section of the trunk floor, and get some paint on the trunk floor to protect it.
