The price of gasoline...

Nothing unusual, someone can fart in the middle east and gas goes up. Any refinery that has a rumor of something wrong, gas goes up. It goes up immediately and takes weeks or months to come down.
 
Why the heck is the price here two dollars MORE per gallon? Seriously....I can understand a higher price for the special CA blend but two dollars a gallon more? THis is like a European type of tax-price gouging experience.

Up like a rocket, down like a feather.
Since we became primarily energy independent, the fuel prices have been much steadier. It was in the high $2 to mid $3 range for quite awhile. Lately though it has crept up and up here while the rest of the country has seen it stay about the same. WHY ?? Really, No bullshit answers, just a fair reason would be nice.
 
$4.50 around here. More if you want premium. What a joke... albeit not a funny one....
 
Ethanol? Good riddance. That corn should have been used in the food supply anyways.

Yeah, that stuff is more used for animal feed (which shows up in our pork and chicken costs, for example) among other uses.

Costco Waterbury Ct $2.34. That's with state 43.8 cents plus 18.8 cents fed tax.
 
$2.20 up in NE Tennessee. I pay $3 for ethanol-free 93 octane premium for the critters.

What is premium by you?

By me in Jersey, regular is around $2.40, premium nears $3.
