Trying to figure out what the following numbers in the fender translate to
It is a Lynch Road Tag
second line from the Top & starts right next to the the left screw

112 083 676

The first 3 numbers relate to the engine , but what engine?
The second 3 numbers relate to the Axle, but what axle?
And the last 3 numbers relate to the Trans, But what trans?

anybody know the answers?

Thanks Larry

Well, the vin and the rest of the fender tag should tell a lot of the story, the lynch road tags dont give a ton of info, but enough. If the driveline is in the car that would be a nice car, no matter the condition..
If that car is a post car there was under 40 426/4's and if its a hard top there was under 100, only 20 or so that went to canada combined between posts and non, auto and manual... So depending on the options it could be a 1 of under 5 car pretty easily...

lots of info here.. for the fender tags, also another tool on the web for decoding the rest, but the rest is easy, its going to be color (EXT upper and lower or vinyl, INT style and color) and then a few options, like c16 (console), n96 (fresh air), 26 (26" radiator), etc..

It does not have the original engine & i think it has a new Mopar Performance engine & its a Hardtop

Here is link to the for sale add let me know what you think

Hello 69Coronetrt

I found an old post of yours when this car was for sale on Ebay

You said the E in the order number was for EXPORT

Would that be a problem as far as registering the car in the US

I think it has been registered in California & Oregon

But the car has been for sale many times so am trying to figure if there are any issues with it

Your old post is below

1970 Road Runner Hemi 1 of 59 for sale on ebay

It's not even that. This is an export car (E in the VON) and would not be counted in the 59 cars sold in the US. Export numbers would be much lower.

FWIW...I have another Hemi four speed RR in EB7 on file so there are at least two.

Seventy

The car now has P/S P/B & Rally Dash but these do not show on the fender tag

Could these have been on the car but not the fender tag?

Yes. The car could have options that are not coded on the tag.

RE Export code: the car could have been ordered by, say, a serviceman overseas that was coming home and wanted the car available when he arrived. It could have been ordered through an authorized seller while he was in SE Asia or Europe. Technically, the car could be considered 'built for Export' as the order came from overseas but the car actually never left US soil. It could have been shipped to the hometown dealer. That happened a lot at that time.

It would not be a problem to register the car in the US.

Thanks 69Coronet really appreciate the help

Going to check the car out next week

Where can you find a list of codes for the engine, axle, and transmission codes for Lynch Road fender tags? I have the Govier white books, but didn't see 925 (engine), 595 (axle), or 603 (transmission) anywhere in the book to decode the engine, axle, and transmission. Did I miss it? if so, what pages is it on?
