Burned Hell Cat bring back to life.

This young man is phenonminal! Don't know if it would have been cheaper to buy one or not, but he surpasses all of my skill levels. My hats off to him....

I would have striped the drive line out of it and sent the rest to the scrap bin .
I don't get people fixing these new cars ! When there this bad off (there not making anymore) doesn't count on this ! Now there's a Non structurely sound 700+ hp car running around you no he didn't change the frame rails and to heat and cool made them weaker !

Yea but it only took 14 minutes to rebuild it. With the price of all the parts needed to rebuild it, it had to cost double the price of a new one, unless he had a parts car available.

Nearly 9 months to do all that! It's tough to get a paint job done somewhere in that time frame!

This guy has some awesome skills. He could make a very good living as a mechanic working on modern cars, if he isn't doing that already. It looks like to me that the only parts he salvaged from the burnt car was the drivetrain, rear end, and floor pan. The floor pan he stuck in a crunched lime green Challenger and he rebuilt the engine from the fire car. I don't know if he did anything about the frame rails or not, but the fire has made them suspect. I would not be willing to take my family on a test cruise in such a patched up monster, but then that's just me. I tip my hat to him though because he really appears to know his stuff.

Spoiler Alert...$35492 total

Well, as new Challenger Hellcats cost 59K on up, I guess he has a bargain(?) I still wouldn't have done it myself because he'll never get back a tenth of what he spent on the restoration if he ever sells the car.

The kid should ask for a job at Mark Worman's shop. It looks like he could handle it all - engine rebuild, body work, interior, etc. If he could stand Mark's bad jokes and clowning.

I have been watching him from the beginning. It's amazing what he did to bring that car back. He has a super positive attitude, loves cars and especially his family. What more can you ask for from a person and from a car channel? I hope his channel grows and he continues to be successful. The fact that his break down is trending is a great thing.

I'm not sure if you watched from the beginning but it was more about if he could than whether it was worth it. The viewership the build brought to his channel alone will more than make up for the fact that the car was probably not worth saving. The viewership, skills, and knowledge he learned was more than worth it in my opinion and it was some great content.

As far as the frame goes, he replaced the half of the car that was burnt the worst. I can't remember if he reinforced it or not though. In reality, it's not different than what some on here do to the rusted out cars they have where they replace frame rails and body panels, this just happens to be new. I am sure people thought the same thing when our cars were newer and that people were wasted their time fixing them back up.

What a waste of time. You watch this will go out to market to someone that has no idea what it went through. Do they flag cars like this down south of the border as write off status cars?

Theres a 71 challenger in Kalispell that burnt completely through. I think the only thing of value maybe the the VIN

Am south of your border an NO this is not an status car, and why? Simple, there's just so few of them, so far I've seen only two hellcat and one charger hellcat here in Mexico, and just like in the USA is gonna be hard to pay 34k for a hellcat, and in that range of price is telling you there's something really wrong with the car, I post this because I like the attitude of the owner and his skills, not because I want to waste someone's precious time, and no, I really hate verbal fights with some other member here, we Mexicans are not a dumb people, I always like to explain myself when I disagree about something, so my brother peace and have a nice day.
