stroker getting warm

You might also look into a triple or quadruple pass radiator. They keep the coolant in the air flow longer.

Lots of tricks you can do
continuous fins truck style
serpentine the core so water goes down, up, down (easy to do) or (left, right, left for crossflow radiator)
but frontal area trumps thickness big time
and all the little things add up like getting the trans load off the rad
pusher fan helps the AC big time in stop and go driving,
I use a 73 governor switch which was used to control the advance on 400's to turn my pusher fan off at 30 mph it goes in the trans before the spedo cable

I run a Glen Ray radiator, shroud and a seven blade fan on my 500 stroker in my Daytona

well, apparently the motor is running right on temp. son drove it to work today first time out! 20 mile trip, back rd. and highway! said it stayed cool, must have been an air locked in block! My turn to test tomorrow if weather permits, show and tell coming up!

Did anyone mention running the engine with the cap off until it's warm to get the air out? I use the special funnel for this. Like this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/EPAuto-Radia...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

Just search for spill proof funnel. @biomedtechguy

good idea
and fill with the car pointed up hill
there are several- VW Vanagon comes to mind -that you HAVE to fill uphill to get the air out
and 6 cyl 240-300 fords trap air in the head with no good way to get it out
and heads crack if you do not jack up the front of the vehicle and cycle the temp and rev it up to circulate before you get to work
turn on the heater too
cheers

Good to hear !
you had me worried as we've seen far too many with really high Oil Temps = NO clrc

my test run went to not happening, we discovered trans. input shaft seal is leaking! kids pissed off said he was thinking of putting one in, but didn't! maybe that's why he got the tranny cheap! he got to try the car with the stroker so that answered some of his questions! snow on it's way here so tranny out and re-seal, 3.9 gears and suregrip to go in when found! I sure would have like to row a couple times!
