Thanks, I’m plugging away, hoping to install the exhaust the weekend. It takes times as I have too many other projects on the go and I’m doing all this restoration myself
 
Had issues with the spectra rad for the mounting bracket to the rad support. Fixed that issue and then painted the rad to only find out that the shroud mounting is wrong. So had to cut off the shroud brackets and remount. Pics are before will update with after pic. The green tape mark is where it will be cut and the bracket flipped. All the mounting studs are wrong as well. And it Is the correct rad shroud, checked the part number several times. The spectra rad is listed for the car, but it's also listed for many other mopars, it's not what I bargained for, but it will work and should look good

Well that sucks... why I love OE radiators, they fit and cool just fine.
I hear ya, without paying a crazy high price I could not find an oem 26 inch core anywhere close by. An aluminum rad with the car, but that’s not the look I wanted. I have it mounted now and it fits and looks nice.
 
Still plugging away in between other projects and jobs. First time the car has been outside on her own wheels, started to mock up the AC

Nice! I really enjoy my upgraded radio. It looks stock but I enjoy the ability to listen to my own music through a system that is vastly superior to the original.

What power wire did you use to power up your classic auto air? The original Heater wire?

Very briefly, I split my system into two power sources that travel through the bulkhead connector. The classic auto air is powered by the new, second power source.

I converted my ammeter gauge into a voltmeter. I put a 70 amp alternator on my system and upgraded those wires. The normal fusible link and wire continues to exist that powers all the stock power needs and my radio. The wire that went from under the dash to the alternator was now no longer needed. That became a second fusible link to power my classic auto air and fuel pump.

Note that I originally I DID use the stock A/C fuse and wire to power the system. It is a 20 amp so it should be able to handle it. However, I think I have a bit of a poor connection here, and the fuse failed once and later when I felt it is was hot. This scared me so that made me decide to move it to the other fuse block I installed under the dash.

Bottom line is I think you SHOULD be able to use the A/C power (if memory serves it is the last fuse on the left side) - maybe my situation was just due to a poor connection. But if you do, monitor that connector very carefully!!!
