The junction box that sits on top of axle on my 69 Coronet requires a 7/16"-20TPI brake line fitting from frame going to axle to screw into junction block. When I pulled all the lines for the frame off, I didn't save connections. Standard for everyone else is 7/16"-24 TPI for a 3/16 brake line...I can't find this part anywhere. I would be happy with a 7/16-20 male to 3/8"-24 female bushing and could make that work. anyone have any ideas or parts laying around? Mocajava

Tried a version of that yesterday several times but got nothing. I will try again with your wording. Thanks

I did find it on Amazon with your help (Photon440) but had to buy 10 of them....Oh well, I got spares!

7/16-20 is a common thread for the rear axle hose. A factory replacement hose should fit just fine. If you are trying to go from the factory Y on the axle to a braided hose then you need a 7/16-20 to #3 or #4. Those are also available. In short, I don't understand your question since all of this stuff is available off the shelf.

In a normal car I could use factory replacement pieces. Mine is so far from that , everything I do has to be custom. From the Mustang disc break system on it to how I routed the lines different from OEM. I guess I was just frustrated and venting when I started this thread, in due partly for me not saving the hardware to start with. My first mistake.....

Okay, but it isn't really a big deal. If the brass Y block on your rear axle needs 7/16-20 thread then just buy an adapter that goes to #3 AN. Then run #3 AN up to the frame and buy the correct adapter that fits in the bracket on the frame. You can buy 3/8-24 flare to #3 with the hex and groove for the factory spring clip. This stuff is all available from Summit. Nothing to get frustrated about, just order the parts you need and install them.
