Watch the video again it appears that the rear frame rails are non existent. Pretty sure people saw that the car needed the entire back half replaced and valued the car with that in mind.

Generally speaking, those parts are no longer available ("in circulation") to the hobby as a whole...
if anything else, he could have let someone else at least learn from the car (perhaps a newbie or teen?)
by taking it on as a project.
Heck...
If he was half as smart as he obviously thinks he is, he could have assembled a bunch of sponsors and
shown the rest of us just how it's done!

In the end, just a total waste.

Reminds me of a Cuda a buddy and I went to check out. Advertised as a ‘71 - Cuda for 20K. When we get to the house, out front was a 1,000 rust bucket and we ignore it continuing to walk to the front door when I pimple popping teen runs out with over excitement on crack because he lost his cherry dashing around the car jabbering away at a mile a second.

We look at each other and ask where the 20 K car was he got upset and over hand motioned and saying “It’s right ******* here, duh!” Mae start laughing so hard due to the comedy of it all the kid gets upset and starts mouthing off on what a great car it is and why this rust bucket is worth 20K.

So we calm him down and say you just can’t fix this 318 rust bucket in a years time and dump a HEMI in it like you say and think and then sell it on Barret-Jackson for a mint, it really just doesn’t work that way.

He literally starts jumping up-and-down screaming telling us we’re wrong.
