There's a new speedshop that just opened up about a month ago in Toledo called "The Speedshop".....something we've sorely been missing in this area.

Years ago the owner had run a restoration shop, but continually was asked to buy performance parts. The performance end of his business far outweighed the restoration side and it required a lot less effort, so he decided to go all in and open a new store.

He has some unbelievable deals. For instance, I picked up a new in box pistol grip non-console handle for $180 whereas the best deal I could find anywhere was $289. He currently has a hurst competition plus shifter with a 4084 handle (I believe 64/65 console handle) new in box for $250. He has a set of 66-70 B body AMD half floor pans with bucket seat plates for $200 for the set.

Basically everything he has is 30-50% off retail...if he has it in the store. He can order anything you want new....but it will be a lot closer in price to what you get on retail pricing.

If you are local.....go check it out....it's worth perusing the store to see what he has, and he is constantly getting new things in. The shifter mentioned above went on the shelf this morning and I don't think it will last long.

If this is the one on Reynolds road there is an advertised cruise in during the warmer weather.

Is Tony Packo’s restaurant still in business? Used to go there years ago when we’d pick up cars at the dock.

Tony Packo’s is alive and kicking. They have the original and a new one down town by the ballpark and another one down in Maumee which is close to me. Nothing is like the original though....although the food is great at all locations.

f that traffic light.

I apologize, didn’t mean to hijack your thread. Just curious about an old restaurant we used to go to.
I wish we had an old fashioned speed shop somewhere around here.

No problem.

Last week I was in the speed shop and he had a full set of BB mopar Harlan Sharp rockers with hold downs and spacers new in a “broken package” for $350. He showed me the retail price at $695. I would have snapped them up but he had them setting out for someone who was coming to pick them up. He has a deal with one of the big boy speed shops to take their returns and broken packages.
