what did you have to convert in order to use?I ordered some off e-bay for very inexpensive. They have many different options there. I believe I searched under the headlight number (6024 conversion or halo etc). I also ordered some other bulbs for the marker lights that has a blue hue but you can get many different colors.
Good luck!
I guess I’m needing an education on these. I’m looking at the two below and see a huge cost difference $89.13 per light vs $133 for a set, but really not much else. What am I missing here?If you are going to get halo headlights, I suggest getting the CCFL halo lights.
CCFL is brighter and works better.
By the way, be aware that the halo light will have a small electronic box that needs to be mounted somewhere. Also good to ensure it is water tight so the halos don't short out.
Bob,What purpose are the "halo" supposed to do or represent? In states tthat hst require safety inspections, like Pennsylvania, where all lighting, brakes, exhsust systems are checked annually and must conform to DOT specs at the time the vehicle was built, this yype of lighting would be unacceptable and would not pass and would be required to be changed back to be legally allowed on the road.
IMHO they look stupid.....but to each his/her own tastes and affordability. This fad is similar to the under car "neon" lighting that was in vogue several years ago.....lets hope it passes as quickly.

Hi Bob,
I live in PA and the Mustang has been inspected here for 12 years with no issues. The lights meet DOT specs.
For me, there are cars that I like them on, and others that I don't. I'm not big on them on my classic Road Runner, but I did like them on the Mustang. To each his or her own!
As I formerly resided in Pennsylvania, I had several issues with the inspection process and certain criteria. I had Cibie Quartz Halogen headlamps which at the time were not sealed beam units and had removable H4 lamps. I also had Cibie Super Oscar driving lights with 100 watt bulbs. I had to remove the driving lights and re-install the sealed beams to pass inspection. I resorted back to the Quartz-halogen stuff....was this fair?? Times have obviously changed now. I was more interested in nighttime illumination than appearances....what you do to your own vehicle is totally up to you....its just not to my taste...as you said: "to each his/her own"...
