I ordered some off e-bay for very inexpensive. They have many different options there. I believe I searched under the headlight number (6024 conversion or halo etc). I also ordered some other bulbs for the marker lights that has a blue hue but you can get many different colors.
Good luck!

what did you have to convert in order to use?

The car is still being put together but they claimed the ones I got need no other mods. Others I've seen run a relay, prob for different bulbs than what I got. But the new housing fits right into the headlight bucket after drilling a hole for extra wire for the backlit bulb.

But the bulbs for the running lights and turn signals were a plug and play. They are Led/Smd bulbs. Cheap on e-bay also if you search. And LOTS brighter!

If you are going to get halo headlights, I suggest getting the CCFL halo lights.

CCFL is brighter and works better.

By the way, be aware that the halo light will have a small electronic box that needs to be mounted somewhere. Also good to ensure it is water tight so the halos don't short out.

I guess I’m needing an education on these. I’m looking at the two below and see a huge cost difference $89.13 per light vs $133 for a set, but really not much else. What am I missing here?

Wow, talk about a blast from the past! My post came from research I did for my 2007 California Special Mustang. I wanted halo headlights as a type of daytime running light. My daughter still drives this car, and they still work great.

However, I am afraid that I can't provide any advice on these new headlights and the difference between the ones you referenced. My GUESS is the Oracle lights have functionality built in that allows them to change colors, and perhaps the others only provide one color? Even if this is true, I don't know about the quality of either. (In my 70 Road Runner I just use old fashioned sealed beams)

Sorry I am not much help here... :(

What purpose are the "halo" supposed to do or represent? In states tthat hst require safety inspections, like Pennsylvania, where all lighting, brakes, exhsust systems are checked annually and must conform to DOT specs at the time the vehicle was built, this yype of lighting would be unacceptable and would not pass and would be required to be changed back to be legally allowed on the road.
IMHO they look stupid.....but to each his/her own tastes and affordability. This fad is similar to the under car "neon" lighting that was in vogue several years ago.....lets hope it passes as quickly.

Bob,
I was adding them just to satisfy your distaste of them! Seriously though, I was planning to use amber as turn signals since I have turbos occupying the space where the original signal lights go. Luckily, socialist IL isn’t as advanced as communist PA when it comes to this. As fad like as this is, Dodge seemed to like them enough to put them on my Hellcat.

Hi Bob,

I live in PA and the Mustang has been inspected here for 12 years with no issues. The lights meet DOT specs.

For me, there are cars that I like them on, and others that I don't. I'm not big on them on my classic Road Runner, but I did like them on the Mustang. To each his or her own!

As I formerly resided in Pennsylvania, I had several issues with the inspection process and certain criteria. I had Cibie Quartz Halogen headlamps which at the time were not sealed beam units and had removable H4 lamps. I also had Cibie Super Oscar driving lights with 100 watt bulbs. I had to remove the driving lights and re-install the sealed beams to pass inspection. I resorted back to the Quartz-halogen stuff....was this fair?? Times have obviously changed now. I was more interested in nighttime illumination than appearances....what you do to your own vehicle is totally up to you....its just not to my taste...as you said: "to each his/her own"...

the only place I buy halo headlights is from Redline Lumtronix Halo Headlight Co they are made of glass and they stand behind their products.... even if its a year later and something happens to one of their lights, they will make it right !!! heres a video of my cuda with the headlights and their many functions....

I've seen your car and always liked it!
I finally met you and your wife at Cruisin the Coast 2019 in the Centennial Plaza area by the official CtC swag trailer where The Hulk was parked. Saw it at the Moparty Picnic the first time...
