Last few that have attended have been played on a getto blaster. I think this is sad. Don’t know if they had more funerals than players that day or what.,
 
They have soldiers there for flag detail but no player. I don’t know why, just what I have seen.
 
And someone has to disagree with me that I think it's sad that they play a recording instead of the real McCoy! Now that's a really sad commentary for someone to have to make!!!

Your in Mexico, not America, your comments moot here! As a 30 year U.S Veteran, I'd rather have a real Bugler then a Damm recording playing Taps at my Funeral! I guess I live to a higher standard then others! RIP Snake!
 
Wow.. we're looking to see if a member is amongst us or deceased and you jack asses are arguing about a bugle. I'll come play taps live ffs if you'll get along....
 
OK now settle down ya'll !!! Taps can be played normally and only by a Bugler performing it. That being said, in this topsie turvy World, some communities are not equipped to honor Veterans with full blown Military Honors. So a recording is then played in lieu of a Bugle Call. Most Military Honor Guards are stretched mightily thin so only in some cases is a burial detail available. But the important thing here guys is to not think of what should be and shouldn't be correct and focus on our Brother Snake-eyes and hope he is still among us but on a sabbatical for what ever he is dealing with right at present... Generally, members are not required to list their home address or other personal info to sign up on a bulletin board such as this. Emails are usually required but are not public but a city and state location is commonly listed however phone numbers are not. Sure hope he's ok.....

What a dumb *** reply. Have had both a BL and Uncles pass with military funerals and do to lack of a human bugler tap were from a recording. Life experience precedes all dumb *** replies.
