Hope to help someone out if they need one for a restoration. Have a NOS boot. No idea if they are worth much but i sold an original used 70' pistol grip shifter (ebody) on ebay and people went nuts over it.
I see they are available reproduction but someone may want a real one?

thanks

It is a ebody 3 speed trans boot
I have the exact same one

According to Brewers the 3 speed is P/N 2996405 and has a round hole, not a slotted one. My dad bought this as a spare for his 70 Challenger so the ebody comments are probably correct. Looking at the brewers site it is exactly a 70-74 ebody boot. Reproductions are 60 bucks.

that is what the part number is listed for in the Factory parts book.
mine came in the trunk of a car I bought and I looked up the number myself
and it is identical to what you have in the pic down to the numbers , slot for shifter ect..

throw the number in here

not saying it won't work for a 4 speed
heck i'm going to use mine in a 71 b bucket console car
but that is what the part number is listed for in the book.
last nos boot I bought a couple of years ago
was for a 71 b bench seat for 125 bucks

I never really looked at that site
I just took that part number and started digging around
it could be correct as they superceded numbers and applications
as time went on.
for value 125-150 bucks would be my guess..

Agree. I bet there is some superseding of P/N. Saw some for sale on Ebodys only and it is the same P/N as this one for a 4 speed. Think you are right on value too. Id sell it for less if it helped a project.

The three speed trans boot looks the same, but the hole for the shifter is round, the one with the rectangular slot is for the pistol grip handle.
