The site administrator & owner doesn't owe anyone anything IMHO.

A decision was made, and that should be enough.

After 10 pages, I think the site administrator definitely owes us an answer. Just saying.
You should demand to get your membership fee refunded.
Just sayin...THAT is one of the stupidest things to ever be added to the end of a sentence.

You are missing the point. The inclination is to believe that the seller is at fault and that his account was terminated because he is a crook or a scumbag. But maybe it was a mutual decision, or maybe he was just tired of the BS and told them to cancel his account. Maybe he told the admins he wouldnt give a refund until he got a refund from the shipper, and the admins didnt agree so they terminated his account. The answer could offer a lot of information.

Let it go now. Joey and any of the moderators do not owe anyone an explanation. The seller was banned and I think that may say a thing or two. No matter what anyone feels about the buyer or any action he allegedly took, the bottom line is as of last Friday he has no part and is out that money.
Whatever shenanigans he pulled with pay pal, how that affects the insurance the buyer says he took out on the package I dont know.
When the buyer decided to go family and friends through pay pal that was a costly mistake. Even if you are confident with a seller, any amount of money that you cant afford to eat if there is a problem, should always be covered by business to business
It seems to me many people are trying to save a dollar and its penny wise, dollar foolish.

Where's the large *** oversized beating a dead horse emoji????

I always insure anything of any value unless the buyer declines. Then I tell them it’s their baby if anything gets lost or broken. I don’t want to be out the cash and the part and neither does the buyer. Some things I don’t get insured coming my way as like said b4, I’m only prepared to lose so much. Kim

you have a valid point but you went about it the wrong way.
demanding answers from admin or mods isnt how it works.

i do agree with your observations, and i laugh at others replies who rather obviously havent read the entire thread yet feel the need to throw the seller under the bus.

it would be interesting to find out what did occur, and the finale, but,
it is not mandatory for the site to tell us.

Another added to the witness protection group... I'm sure he'll pop up under a new name in the near future...

I consider myself very fortunate to have had nothing but good dealings with the members of Moparts, Dodge Charger.com, and this site. I have done literally hundreds of transactions being the buyer, seller, and trade recipient up and including trading whole cars,a 69 Charger 500 for a 70 Charger R / T V code, with the other person in possession of both cars for a month while transportation was arranged, some 1800 miles from my home, and every deal has gone according to plan with no glitches! Most car guys are stand up guys, but every bunch has a few bad apples. I don't know if I would call my successful dealings luck, but I hope it continues!

Me too.. I've sold airplane parts and car parts around the world to 100's of people and have bought probably double that. Only two asshats in all that.... that stole my **** and got Paypal to refund their money on top. One in Australia and one in Sweden.

We all have to remember that this thread probably wouldn’t be here if the op had used pay pal goods and services. Also did he offer up any proof the parts were actually damaged? Did he not say the the shipping company wouldn’t be delivering. Does he have any proof anything was actually damaged? Kim

I just received a message on Dodge Charger.com that a wiring harness that I bought is being shipped out to me tomorrow. Hopefully another successful transaction!
