I'm narrowing down what color to paint my 65 Satellite project and would like some feedback. I've attached some photos of various colors. As an fyi the car has no fender/body plate. The original color was white. This project is not a numbers matching show car...being built as an above average driver. Engine is original (383 HP) am converting to 4 speed. Sorry I don't know how to include a "poll". Also, thinking about installing a black vinyl top if I go with either black or white. Also...if you have a color that's not shown please let me know. Thanks

I think you need to ask yourself these questions, do you want a fly under the radar color or do you want a look at me color. Maybe choose one that you don't see everyday and most importantly what will you be able to live with in the long run. Paint jobs are expensive....just sayin
BTW you've done a great job, body looks bitchen

I like the silver with red interior idea but I also like the turquoise. Either way, I say no to the vinyl top. IMO

I like all of those and am partial to vinyl tops.
I just painted mine gold and really like it. It took me months to decide... I also like the Delmonico Red found on new Ram trucks, the Ford version of maroon is also really nice.
Good luck!!!

Another vote for silver over red.
No plastic top, please.

Those cars look good in any color. I would be leaning towards dark gray.

No vinyl top, silver(or is it gun metal gray?), with the red interior. That would look sharp IMO.

I'm planning on a two tone on my 65 Belvedere. They have a great color divide with that front to back horizontal rib.

From the pics you posted, my choice would be either turquoise or silver, neither with a vinyl top.

Black is classic, I'm partial to Red.
But if you are looking for something different that stands out.
Go Mango (I think this picture may have come from here)

Red definitely. They've just enough brightwork on them to really look sharp against a nice bright red. No vinyl top.

I like the blue you posted, and also Jerry's dark turquoise. I will never own a black car again. I've learned my lesson.

I've not learned that lesson yet, I just bought another black car, but I also like 67 colors EE1, and GG1. Most of the comments I see about green here are like it's a nice car, "but it's green". Ofcourse there is nothing like black and chrome, it just needs constant attention.
