Getting close to select color for 65 Satellite need feedback

Those body lines look fantastic with red or silver in your original pic's! Love
that body style!

all silver with red interior or all dark turquoise poly with light turquoise interior. are my votes. too may red, black, white and blue cars out there.

You're the one that has to look out over the hood at the color. Go with your gut and what makes you happy.

As far as the top, paint it. They have such a special roof line and vinyl just takes that away from it. MO

I’m leaning towards Dark Turquoise Poly for my 64 Savoy. Silver looks great, the black one looks pretty hot!

In my opinion, any factory color works. The most important thing after that tho...The wheels, tires, and stance. Pick any color above...if you get the stance wrong, it won't have the impact you're looking for. What wheels and tires are you putting on this car. Looking forward to seeing this process.

...by the way, I'm pretty sure the turquoise car with drag stars and Bogarts at the bottom was owned by a friend of our's from Long Island. He used to run it in N/SS at Atco with the Northeast Nostalgia Supper Stock Assn. It ran 9.90's on motor back in the 90's. Great car! Anyone know where Billy is?

I polled the guys over on FCBO and they were unanimous...triple pickle. Green paint, green vinyl top, and green interior. :D

Seriously though:
No vinyl top!
No red interior!
Dark blue, turquoise, or red exterior. That gun metal gray is nice, but it doesn't show off the chrome work as good as the other colors.

Salmon and fox pecker pink interior. I like the oddball colors turquoise, green or blues. Black, red and silver seem to be common and would be parked next to you at a car show.

I have a 65 Bel II that will eventually be in the same condition and ready to paint...

I've never discussed what my plans were but God only knows when I'll get to it...

I planned on the new Go Mango burnt orange color with a black vinyl top...There's a little more anodized trim on a Bel II than a Satellite but the combination of the burnt orange...black and the trim is hard to beat...Similar to but different than the pic below...

How about light AND dark turquoise split at the body line??

Though mine is a 64 same body lines. When I did this car I wanted a unique interior color and matching exterior.
