I liked the Movie, but the Hemi engines in Matador cop cars was a stretch!

I may have saw this movie, but I surely don't remember it. I'm going to have to look, but I think a DVD of it is what I need to look for too.

I think it was Willy (?) Taggart's car (local racer)
it wasn't very fast either, even for back then

I do like the Willys with the blown Hemi
both cars need the rear ends narrowed

filmed at Fremont/Baylands Raceway
back in the day

They didn't start narrowing things until the eighties,I remember the cops using a tape measure to measure how far my N 50s stuck out beyond the quarterpanel,and how high my bumper was off the ground,and I had the tickets to prove it!

Nice one @Pops1967GTX ....I spent the best part of 25 years tracking down a copy of this movie after watching it as a youngster.
The name is advertised differently, and is difficult to find....but I found a DVD copy.

Another movie you guys might like is "Bad Georgia Road" - another long since forgotten movie - featuring a 70 Road Runner and a 70 Charger. Thin plot lines with a few corny lines and some cool car action. Another I spent at least 25 years trying to find a copy of....got VHS in it's package plus a DVD copy now.

MCG turned me on to this movie and I snagged a VHS copy when they were available..still have it in storage! Good to know it's online viewable now.
