spectrum premium fuel sending unit for mopar

Just happened I was cleaning up today.. and I'd set the old OE ring I hammered off my Bee on the bag of "NOS" rings I just bought.. so I measured them. OE = 0.0705" and "NOS" 0.0515

I put one in my uncle's '68 gtx a few years back, that he got from Bill Rolik. It worked good (and was more $$) but I don't know if they're still available. The one in my car now is one of the Spectra repops, it was $35 from Jegs and I had to do some trial and error with bending the arm (which was a hassle) but it reads fairly close now. Getting the lock ring seated just right was also a challenge, and after two years I've noticed it's starting to leak a little.
Bill Rolik also sells the thick lock rings. He's the only place I know of to get a good one

I see DMT is selling .070" stainless rings. Talked to Jamie at Mega also. He says the ones they sell are thicker than the cheap repops, but didnt have a mic handy to measure them. He believes they are the same as what DMT is selling.

I tried 2 different ones from Bill Rolik, both show about 3/4 when tank is full........

But I bet if you measure that OE retainer ring it's 70thou thick and not the 51 that was recently sold as NOS !

I didn't measure it but it cleaned up like new and it's on there!
