73 Satellite Wagon Weatherstrips

Hi,

I am looking for some rear door weatherstrips for my '73 Satellite Wagon, or any tips on what to use or get

Its mainly about the window weatherstrips but they all need attention at some point

To my knowledge, there is nothing available for the rear tailgate seals. For the doors, we have made up a set for a 71 B-Body wagon based on the originals that the customer sent us. The same goes for the window felts.

What is wrong with the originals? Are they missing completely or is an issue with them being torn?

The originals have basically been cooked by the California sun and they have gone hard and brittle,

I was wondering if a Door belt line strips for a 2 door might be long enough to fit

The window felts are unique to front and rear doors. Even the rear felts are different for wagon vs a four door sedan application. The clip placement will be different as well. Making up a correct set of window felts is not a problem and we may very well have a template available. It would mean having your originals available to verify or very good measurements.

I recall making up a set for a 71 Plymouth B-Body wagon a couple of years ago. So the question would be if they used the same window felt and same type of material.

It is possible to purchase various profiles to make up a generic style of window felts. But a correct style replacement will be much more appealing cosmetically and will allow a smooth operation of the window mechanisms.
