I admit my days of mainstream mopar like 66-70 B bodies, etc is long gone. Now there is my 62 dart 330 more door project and the even odder 62 Lancer!
A few questions. Is SMS the only source for quality vinyl? I may or may not go original material.
I guess I am at the mercy of the local upholstry shops for seat covers, door panels, and headliners.

I've been personally at SMS Fabrics a few weeks ago to meet Doug Pollock. I was looking for samples for my 62 Dart. This guy is amazing. They do have all colors and patterns used in the 60s. There was even a sample book of Dodge you could check. He showed us all material on a big roll to see the pattern and color combinations for seats, door panels, headliner. I can absolutely recommend this place.

I think I read somewhere they custom make the correct door panels for cars like my 62 Dart more door????

Yes, they do fabricate them in house. You have to order way in advance. He told me around 6 or more month for delivery.
Here are few pics of SMS.

Thanks for the info, I have ordered materials from them decades ago and they have since changed hands I think. I will get a price form them for the door panels. I do not really care for the oem fable like on my 62 Dart and 62 Lancer, I prefer all vinyl.
I have a friend with a 62 Lancer wagon, he had a local Dallas shop make his door panels and they were $1000, so anywhere will be expensive I bet!
I want to keep the $ spent on these 2 cars reasonable as their value is not that great!!

I got rid of the rusted panels, epoxied, sealed, smoothed out some dings, left some just so it won't be perfect!!! ... urethane single stage topcoat. I have to get the old 1 ton running and make the road trip to trade for the poly 318. It ill be just a fun cruiser.
