Mike Adamle has Dementia!

He lives up in Mundeleine, and he's been battling this for about seven years.
He's married, and he's done a few spots on the news about his situation. He
understands what's happening and does the best he can every day. Yeah, He's
a great guy and he knows everyone cares.

I remember him as a sportscaster after his NFL days. A great personality.

Better yet, I used to get in for Free to the games at home NU games as a Boy Scout when I was a slightly younger kid then!!! Fun times 4 sure even as the losers that they were back then! Hometown memories FO sure!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Where did you live growing up?

Lots of Universities that could be NU...:nutkick:

I already knew you and your brother are from Evanston, so I didnt play along :p

I didn't know you grew up on campus. Skokie, Winnetka, Highland Park?
We both grew up in Evanston IL. Northwestern University is located there. Our Dad was a graduate from it as well. Brother still lives in Wilmette. Yep good times back then...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

That's the answer I was looking for. I owe you a chicken dinner, Bill. I bet the area changed a lot since then.

I haven't been back in over 10 years. I do miss the Baseball, Hot Dogs, and the Old Styles though!

Up until about 1980 or so.

Yep it sure has. I have been catching pics of it from Bookface as I call it on a group site about Evanston and Chicago. As my Brother stated I also miss the Cubs...get every game on TV thanks to Direct TV or streaming the games, great Hot Dogs, and of course some cold Old Style even though I quit drinking Beer years ago. It was home and where I grew up and will always be despite memories I choose to forget about and such. Just went from a cool town to a very uber Liberal area now which just sticks in my "craw." So I really have no desire to visit or even go back there. Just will always treasure the good times and my youth growing up...cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:
