Had a few pretty good cuts over the years......but only a couple required sewing up.

lacquer thinner on bug bites and white heads..... it might even beat back herpes

About a dozen years ago I was moving my anvil and ended up dropping it on my foot. (Don’t ask) Went to the ER, I thought that I had broken my foot. When I was telling the nurse what I’d done, she just looked at me and asked, “were you chasing a roadrunner when this happened?” Had to laugh!

this was just a few days ago, playing with Rebel........ I usually get a little rough with him, and he gives it back pretty good.

anyway, he was pulling on my sleeve and went in for a better grip...... it was an accident. We both felt bad, and were like; "what are we gonna tell Mom?"

A couple of my oops in the shop..neither too serious fortunately...but lessons learned.
The head of a Phillip's headed bolt stripped so I was using a drill to take the head off while holding the nut on the backside with a socket and ratchet. It slipped and I felt the drill hit my finger. It stung but I kept working and taped it up. The next day I had my wife look at it...she noticed a entrance hole...and a exit hole. I drilled all the way through my finger ....it severed the tendon...requiring 27 stitches in one finger and a tendon surgery...The dr bill...was a little painful 2.

Also was grinding with our large angle grinder.....as I was grinding away my shirt somehow caught. Next thing I knew...no shirt. Happened that quick. As it wound up my shirt...my chin and chest got buffed a little bit as pulled my shirt off. Didn't see that one coming either. Loose clothing...and machinery...don't go together.

Got in a hurry and cut it off with a table saw. All those years on the job and I do this helping a friend lay walnut hardwood flooring...........

I did this in June this year, that's the finger nail I cut off laying on the paper plate along with a hunk of skin attached to it. It bled for hours until I used a hair drier to get it to scab up.

Here it is today, I'm not sure if the white tip will ever go away, but at least everything grew back. I still have an odd sensation in my finger tip, I'm assuming the nerves haven't completely healed. Finger2.jpg

lol...... took a while, but this thread has legs

my dog bite 6 days later is not infected, it has shrunk from baseball to golf ball size; my forearm is 50 shades of plum crazy, but for some reason the pain factor has been minimal

in all my years in my life masking tape duct tape where in my tool box when we didn't have super glue I used a soldering iron or fishing line and a needle or hook and thinner was good for everything
