Do you carry a pocket knife ?

Swiss Army knife for me, probably use the toothpick more than anything else.

also this light 10 years would feel lost without each one

Never carried one until I got out of the Navy and joined the Trades. I carried a 3" Buck knife every day for 33 years in electrical construction. Seems like I needed it every day. When I retired, I stopped carrying it. Now the only time I need one is in the shop and there seems to be enough of them to go around out there.

Current EDC, ZT 0220.

Great blade.

I've carried Buck, Gerber, Swiss Army, Kersahw and others along with custom made blades.

can't get into concerts or amusement parks with it

Never leave home without it. My daily carry is an American Kershaw.

I also have quite an extensive knife collection. My newest addition is a Benchmade push dagger.

Reminds of one time I went to a concert and got up to the door and had to empty my pockets. I had a small old timer and the guy says you can’t bring that in. I asked what can I do with it cause I’m not going to the back of that line. His response was throw it in the trash! I turned and walked back out
and there was a big brick raised flower bed and I counted the bricks and stashed it in the dirt. I wondered if it would be there when I came back out. It was still there after the show so all good.

I forgot to mention that I also carry a small flashlight with the knife, always! I work rotating shifts and like to be prepared in any emergency. When you can't see in the middle of the night, you're screwed without illumination! I also wear a wrist watch and always have. I noted a lot of people I work with don't wear one of those either. These all are necessities to me. I don't rely on my cell phone like many do. Although I might have it with me, it is usually fully charged but OFF, until I need it! :D

Carry some kind of knife daily. That said getting more difficult in some settings. I was almost denied access to Mecum Indy last year because of a mundane daily carry Steel Will. A cool security guy said just let him in and saved me a 4 block walk back to the truck. Taking a pocket knife into Canada is also getting iffy depending on what the border guy interrupts as a weapon. A machete is ok but a flipper is not. Go figure.

Yup. Every day since I was eight or so, which was quite a while ago. A mid-size Swiss Army is my daily, but I have a small herd of others if the need arises. Mine is like this but black, a little bigger, and a lockback.

You are more likely to find me without my pants than without a knife...

When I was a Border Patrol Agent, I was ordered to report to a ceremony in dress uniform one time. Turns out, the top 10% of agents that confiscated the most agricultural contraband were awarded a folding Buck knife that day with an engraved kind of lettering (more like a print) on the blade that read "Protecting American Agriculture". In El Paso, mostly picked up aliens selling/transporting mangos, green Mexican limes, and avocados.

I did not carry that Buck knife around much, but I did carry a pocket knife around when I lived/worked on the family ranch (gift of Dad). Of course, cowpoke Dad always carried a pocket knife. I could never get the hang of sharpening mine, though. Same thing with tying special knots, I'm just lucky I learned to tie my shoe laces.

Swiss army and a Husky.
They searching the vehicle getting into Canada? If so I need to leave the work truck at home. There is a knife in every tool box and bag.

As I said before I like to misplace them, so I try not to spend too much money on the small ones. I did have a nicer skeletonized SOG I used as a shark knife, it was okay most places but hawaii salt water rusted it in two weeks...go figure.

Most people stay far away from me when I have my favorite knife in my pocket...not sure why:D
