Cool thread Iron. My gramps on Dad's side of the family started a trucking business that ran until the mid 80s. We had yards in the bay area and LA with HQ being in Fresno, (halfway between them)...I grew up around them, on them, under them....rode along on many a run. The trucking culture in the 70s/early 80s was somethin' else...
I remember dad and my uncle having bottle rocket wars while driving down I-5. There was one pass where they would pull over real quick and shoot a couple roman candles over the CHPs heads when they'd be parked on the other side...Can't get away with that **** anymore!
