I am putting a holley 4160 with dual feed lines. It does not appear that I will be able to put the coil in the original location as the dual fuel line will be occupying the same space. I could be wrong as I do not have the fuel line yet.
Advice ?

Make your own lines or use a 440 6 bbl bracket. The brackets are readily available, they're all over ebay

Mine is sitting on the inner fender, directly across from the distributor and tucked under the windshield
washer bottle. Seems snug as a bug there - and it's away from the carb, which I wanted to begin with.

You know me,

I'd put a Carter on it...

I have the Edelbrock equivalent and I still moved it.
Something always bugged me about having the coil right next to the carb....

Both of mine have them here, never had an issue.
But I do understand the idea of keeping the coil cooler, makes sense.

point the fuel line to the rear and run a small s/s braided line from the fuel filter to carb.

I had a 1978 Chevy P/U (I am ashamed) with a SB 400 and Holley spread bore 650 30 years ago. I was 60 miles from home and popped the hood ( can't remember why) to see a stream of gas coming out of one of the fuel bowl soft plugs washing the distributor clean! I freaked me out but I drove to a speed shop and procured a replacement bowl and changed out the offending bowl with a non leaker. Probably the luckiest find I ever had!

Here is what I did on mine. Depends on your intake manifold though.

As noted above, does the 440 6 pack coil bracket work for you?

my coil is lurking below my passenger side dashboard away from heat and fluids

Fender well. Starting to think it doesn’t matter much.
