Has the miracle lube been invented yet???

I've had urethane bushings in my cars for 20+ years. No matter what lube I use; it squeaks! I wish I had put stock rubber bushing in.

I'm just checking in to see if anyone has learned about some sort of miracle lube that I don't know about.

Not sure if still available but look up DuPont aerospace lubes. These where made for the NASA shuttle program, be warned, very expensive, a cartridge for the grease gun was over $400 and this was around 1995. One cup car was using and promoting the stuff with little to no wear on all drivetrain parts and when applied the the headers would fall apart when removed, no sticking. Made to withstand the extremes of space

Though I don't put many miles on yearly,I have had good luck using Marine waterproof wheel bearing grease.I was also told that hitch ball lube with Teflon is another. I've never tried that one.

Don't they make graphite impregnated urethane bushings? I've heard they work well.....? A buddy used to spray his down with WD-40 and he said that would last until after driving in the rain a few times. This was back in the 90's when we didn't mind getting them wet so much.

First car I did with polyurethane bushings I didn't know to lube them(90's also) I did the wd-40 spray down everytime I drove it. Most of the noise came from the sway bar bushings.

These bushings I use are indeed graphite bushings. I believe from PST. I guess a Teflon spray is my best option since the suspension is together. I will also double check the sway bar bushings, but my suspicion is that it's upper control arm bushings. You know... the one's you can't get to once everything is together. Haha

The uppers ain't too hard to get to. Pulling the tire off will help....and didn't even think about Teflon spray.

During installation we recommend using liberal amount of the polylube that is supplied with our bushings this help with the initial seating of the bushings upon installation. If additional greasing is needed in the future we recommend a lithium based grease as it will not have any adverse effects on the polygraphite bushings.
