Got my new 1972 Charger SE a few months ago. Gorgeous car. Power windows, air, Hounds-tooth seats. Never thought I'd own a Hemi Orange car but it's growing on me. 90% original paint. Trim and vinyl roof are flawless. The 70 is the one I lost in a fire in July and the 72 is my new one.

Congrats on the new addition and sad to hear about the loss of your 70!

Since I bought it I put new 15x7 rallaye rims on it with white letter Cooper Cobras , Tuff steering wheel, machine gun exhaust tips and I have a power bulge hood ordered to put on it. I know the hood was not available on an SE but I can't put up with that flat hood.

What are the thoughts on the hood. Blacked out bulge or body colour??

both nice Chargers
welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Definitely body color. Looks better and more original. Welcome to the forum from Connecticut by the way! Also very sorry to hear about your 70.

Welcome aboard from NJ. That is very sad about the 70, it is my favorite year. However, the 72 is a superb replacement. Best of luck with it. I vote for hood to be body color. Either way it's gorgeous!

Welcome from the show me state!! Nice rides!!

& welcome from NorCal too!

Sorry about the lose, but glad you were able to find something to replace it. Welcome aboard.
