Redo of the 1976 movie Midway

looks like a good one
Woody as a leader/military guy, in charge may be a stretch :poke:

I do love war flicks especially the old ones;
like Tora Tora Tora & Midway, both great classics

I really liked the org. Midway with
Henry Fonda, John Wayne, Kirk Douglas

I'll watch it, even if I don't know or even care for
a few of the actors in it
special effects & CGI will be awesome I'm sure

& I'll wait tell it comes to cable in 6 months

My wife and I saw it last week I liked it. Different than the original. We also saw Ford vs Ferrari. Enjoyed it as well.

It was good. Historically accurate on th he battle. They even went into the jap atrocities.

My only criticism is that they tried to put too much into a 2 hr movie and glossed over quite a bit of historical details. They focused a bit too much on Pearl Harbor and the Doolittle raid imho. And nowhere during the battle did I see a Wildcat fighter.

I liked it. A different approach, great focus on just a few heros.
