Yup.
I have also a metal box they seem to like with a 12 volt currant running through the screen inside. Frys them quick. No chance of trying to retreat. Then I have the death stix for the voles that borrow at thr sides if the sidewalk to go underneath. Those work great.

last year i was catching all most 200 mice on my property due to the neighbor working in the woods on his property pissing off the nice and they came over to my property but i got them all not one got into my garages . two at once thats a great day

A friend used to employ a gal who was married to a real screwup. They had an old van based RV. A mouse got in and she wanted to set a trap. He saw the mouse and tried to shoot it with a pistol. He killed the water heater.

I got in the habit of tying fishing line to my traps as I got tired of trying to find them. Some in my hangar have gone over 80 feet and then behind something.. others I've never found.
