hey guys , im restoring my 67 X and am in need of some plug wires..... can someone recommend a vendor that sells the chrysler reproduction wires ... as always thank you ...Rich
 
ive been looking around at year one reproduction wires... the description says for points type ignition. i will be useing electronic ignition, does someone make a reproduction wire kit for my application. im trying to stay stock looking under the hood ... i like the look of the reproduction kit with the pentastar logo and the date stamped on them ...Rich

Depends on what type of electronic you are using. My Hemi has a stock original dual point dizzy that is converted to Pertroxyx ignition. Looks bone stock. I got my wires off eBay as the seller had the date codes I needed. And number 7 wire had a rubber extension on it making it pretty easy to get in with the brake booster in the way. Username was Lectralimited.
 
Isn’t the distributor cap the same for points and Chrysler electronic ignition? The repop wires work for both applications if the cap is the same.
 
plug wires don't know the difference between a points or electronic distributor, the wires will work with either
 
Lectric Ltd is the best by far. $70 for perfect wires, licensed and proper fit. Had three sets, going to get a 4th.

....just remember to use a bit of lube when dropping them on the plugs....has a few of mine get stuck on there...and pulled off the boots. Lectric replaced them at no chage....

My dad bought his from Classic ind. The are date coded & the right color. Plus they are for a duel point ignition

Ok, I used to carry the plug wires from Lectric limited.

The reason they say points only is the resistance requirements is different between the 2 ignition systems is slightly different

Now,,,,, That said I ran them on my cars and sold them to numerous customers running the mopar electronic ignition and not once did I have any issues or comebacks.

I have no feedback on any other electronic ignition systems being used
