Ripped off on a car purchase by a member

The GTX kid will settle between Jason and Me not this forumn I respect all badmouthing and trashing me Jason and I made deal not you so be careful what you say I will not read anymore on this closing down per my lawyer
Have you provided the OP whom you did this deal via PM here, email or text him your legal counsel? So he and his counsel can settle things out?

Can you show us specifically where people have "bad mouthed" the transporter you refer to as Jason?

Or are you using this as a scare tactic?

The fact of the matter is if you google the number it ties you to a name. That number is also tied to hundreds of car/parts posts. All of this information is out there on the internet. Didn't take Colombo to figure out who this guy is. If you stack crap high enough eventually you can see over the fence. I would hope this can be resolved and both parties are happy with the outcome.

All i know is GTXkid's elementary school English teacher should be flogged publicly.....

You can erase a lot but you can not erase the footprint left in the web. No one bad mouthed anyone. Just giving advise to someone who asked. One thing about this site. We give advise and opinions and there worth what they cost.

His eBay identity will be key if he disappears from FBBO.
To his credit he has great feedback on ebay. So maybe not a total scam. Only one neutral feed back. So I would not categorize him as a scam artist. I guess it is possible that he was not aware.. But then again he looks to be hellaware of the stuff he sells.

Well, gtxkid SAYS he is going to settle with you.......

jdakrt --- we are ALL interested to know that you get squared away when all is said and done.
*** DO what you have to do, jdakrt **** and let us all know what happens.....

And the 77 responses on this thread, so far, will be added evidence (and support) for your file....

And we ALL know you will never do this again -- and never buy so much as a lock washer from gtxkid ever again!!!!!

(gtxkid's skills -- typing, English, etc. etc. Leave much to be desired -- it is clear from his responses that he never went to Yale or Harvard......)

Hopefully the cc people have my back as they say the do, we will see in 48-72 hours from late last night. The last text I have from GTXKID was a threat to sue for slander. No effort at all to make things right. none. I'll keep you guys posted.

The feedback is all by seller like him buying stuff. Not from buyer.

Well the seller misrepresented so not even the condition really and selling with a vin in hand speaks for its self. Good luck to you will be watching from the side lines.

My opinion, and the overwhelming majority here (hopefully) see there is absolutely no way one could not "know" this car was a counterfeit when he sold it to me. I just don't see how a reasonable person could make such a claim to ignorance, given the experience and sheer volume of cars hes had his hands on.

Is it really slander if the only information you posted is whats readily available on the internet that HE POSTED? Name Mike Phone number and car parts... I don't think slander is an issue. I mean for what its worth his first name is GTX and last name Kid... How the hell can you slander someone using an alias..

DOH! I read it as him being the seller... My bad.. oops.
That used to be a scam on ebay. Buy a lot of smalls get a good feedback them sell something worthless or something you don't have make big money and delete the account. Pay-pal kind of helped that but it still is possible.

That blue 70 Coronet R / T convertible clone was for sale at this year's Chryslers at Carlisle event,in the vending area. A friend of mine was looking at the car, and seriously considering making an offer on the car. He asked me to look at the car, and give him my opinion of the car. I told him that the door gaps were terrible, especially the drivers side door to quarter seam. The quarter panels were poorly installed, and could not be corrected without repainting some or most of the car. I suggested for him to not buy the car.

I don't even need a 'red flag', someone stating a car built in this era being 'rust free' is enough to move on. Good luck with your case, we all make mistakes, it only takes once.

If the title / serial number misrepresents the vehicles true I.D . Thats a case in itself.

The hack jobs shown and if not listed as such is another matter as well.
