okay,im willing to be reasonable and ask you a few logical questions.

i would just like to ask you why you consider whats being said as slander when you sold him a coronet convertible but the car that was delivered is a welded up fraud?
esp considering the vast number of coronet convertibles you have already had and sold?
so you have lots of experience with these coronets which can be proven in a court of law no less,
yet you state you had no idea and the car came that way?
can you explain Any of that?

you state that you bought this car from a member here?
can you please provide details of that?

as far as personal info, nobody has posted your full name yet..
the phone number you provide on all your ads is what tied everything together and made it easy to find your activities over the years.

final thought..you tell the buyer if hes not happy with the car to sell it????
coughs..you do realize that the car is a fake, with multiple vins,
and if he sold that car to Anyone he would be in the same trouble that you are now in....

instead, why dont you do the Right thing, and refund the guys money and take that fraud back and crush it.
because i seriously dont see this episode ending well for you..

If he truly didn't know the car wasn't what he thought it was and was any kind of person, he would refund or make the deal right with the buyer period. No Lawyers required to do the right thing. Just saying.

Call him if he doesn't answer, leave a message if I don't here from you in 4 hours the police will be involved .

Well what do you think about that... the mystery is thickening.
That is what the purpose of this thread is about....to flush out a snake and a digital record of everything possible before the “delete” key is hit by the slithering snake everywhere .....and guess what:Dit worked:bananadance:

My point earlier was this can be accomplished without minor threats or eluding to such etc or the potential of more members losing focus of what we see Happening in front of our eyes....

There is absolutely no doubt he (the seller) knew exactly what he was selling. I mean, come on we are all car guys specifically Mopar guys; any vehicle we obtain we pour over and inspect carefully and completely. Within several hours (several days worst cast) we know everything we need to know about a new vehicle. So, the "I didn't know" actually means "I got hosed myself and I don't want to admit it". Its not like it was a bad engine or trans that was never used or disassembled, it was obvious and easy to find (buyer figured it out within a day), then there is the entire issue of the multiple VINs; being a Mopar guy the seller knew fully what the deal was and there is no amount of denial holds weight.

If GTXKid bought this car off a member here, he would have been doing exactly the same thing that is going on now against him; anyone of us would do the same thing. You buy something for a substantial amount of money off a guy who starts off with a degree of trust based on a common interest/organization (this site) and get hosed, of course you are going to be pissed off. Yes, the buyer should have done better due diligence to be sure, but some people still have faith in some of their fellow humans and unfortunately they are prime targets for low lifes willing to take advantage of them.

Now, the seller apparently feels no obligation to make this right in anyway as he evidently feels that he did everything in his power to make the buyer aware of any issues with the car by providing pictures. This is a classic "not my problem" type of defense; he is claiming what we would call in the military as "plausible deniability" despite knowing full well that everything the buyer is saying is correct, but since there is a sliver of doubt (meaning you cannot easily prove the buyer actually did know although we all know he did). If the seller had an ounce of morale fiber he would settle with the buyer; what form that takes is up to the 2 of them. The moral of this story; trust no one, verify everything. Yes, this is a sad state of affairs but it is realty. You need to be responsible for your actions, specifically your purchases. I would bet it would be safe to assume that most of us have bought or acquired a "low mileage" engine (in or out of a car) only to find out it was completely clapped out. I will bet in most if not all of those cases, the seller presented the "I didn't know" look and statement when confronted. More than once I have thought a gasket set would have been cheap insurance (as in tearing an engine down before buying it).

WTF did I just read? WTF are you trying to say? Some idiot needs to get his *** back in grade school and learn some Grammar & Punctuation lessons! Probably doesn't even know what a "proof read" is either! You make us educated people from Illinois look like idiots, you moron!

Wonder what happened to the hood. Is it laying beside the Interstate between IL and VA???
i wondered that as well.
did anyone actually Ask the truck driver if there was a hood on the car when it left?
it sure sounds like there was,
according to the 500 kept and the promise of 500 more from the transport company to the buyer..
its a hood,4 bolts the trucker was probably eating dinner when it got gone..

Some guy in a Peterbilt will be telling his buddies about how he scored this great HOOD well getting fuel at a Pilot Travel Center

Team,

Its fairly easy to rectify this kind of issue, when a CC is used as payment....Paypal as well. The seller assumed the terms and conditions of paypal payment processing when he allowed the translation to be conducted. Fraud is clearly described and listed as a violations of that agreement. GTXkid violated their policy and the buyer has recourse to make a claim for a full refund of the car.

Your grammar and punctuation will not garner you any favor here and if your ads were written this way it should have been an immediate red flag.

As to the car, it was criminally misrepresented as a convertible. Whether the shoddy work was yours or a previous owners, it should have been presented truthfully. And failure to disclose material facts is fraudulent.

This website is for people who enjoy these cars, not for shady grifters. You have had zero meaningful posts.

At this point in the game? Who knows. It could have flown off, or been stolen. It could have not been on the car when it was picked up. What seems to be coming to light is that the shipper and the seller have some sort of relationship. I've had a few things shipped and delivered, and NEVER has the shipper been unable to produce photos of when the car was picked up. And guess what? the seller didn't take any either. Something stinks. Unfortunately I stepped in it. As stated before, lets all keep the thread professional.

I think it is all going to work out for you because of the VIN issue. Anyway sorry you had to run across one of the Shi%^y people in this hobby.

Some of the questions I asked earlier but of course the “other” individual is MIA........

It appeared to me based on his wording earlier he has a relationship with the transporter and this operation is bigger than one snake.....

Again, if he suggested to utilize his transport, that’s another big red flag!

Hey jdakrt,
Aren't you glad you started a thread about this?????
You can clearly see that all the good people of the world are on your side, and have your back.... We are with you and feel your pain.
You TRUSTED, and that is still a good trait on this planet -- you just got deceived by an untrustworthy and unsavory character.
Take a deep breath, do what you have to do, be
thorough and complete, and make it happen. Take the time in your life to process all this immediately, and while you would like to "move forward" in life, stop and take the time to rectify the situation... It is important....
---- And, of course, it is YOUR money.....
Make it happen.... 118 responses already... We care about you...... Yours, Craig

I was hauling my dart home the day I bought it. And my buddy was like is the rear glass in the car? I was like yea sure it is. About another mile down the road I looked back and thought man that glass is really clean.. Well, it was gone.. I assume it took flight about 5 miles out of that guys yard.. Completely my fault should have backed the car on the trailer.. It had no windshield so it was just a huge air dam on the inside and blew the glass out. This is probably what happened to the hood.
