People need to quit texting while driving

I missed the part where they stated the driver was texting?

Watch, some moron will come along and say they were using a hands free device!!:screwy::screwy::screwy:

Lets just ban idiot drivers. Dont think cell use or texting is the real problem here.
A great contribution yes.

Watch out for the sources we use. Fox news.com just tried to stick 4 trackers on me when I opened the link.

Maybe not in this case but it is a serous problem. I think the whole cell phone thing is a problem. Had a lady in wal-mart run a shopping cart into me because she was playing with the phone. Personally I refuse to carry one. I own one but when I travel it is in my bag. I don't feel the need to be in constant contact with the world. I don't take it with me unless I am traveling long distance. That is just my preference. When I was young we didn't have a telephone at all. When we did get one it was a party line. We weren't allowed to use it until we were 13 years old. Didn't miss it then don't miss it now.

Oh I will go you one better. I live in S.D. now I was raised in North Western WY. I am old school all the way I just don't see the need. Also when I was working I had a cell phone a telephone in my pickup and one in my office along with a pager and a phone in my room (we lived at work 3 weeks on then 3 weeks off to go home) After 30 years I was so sick of a phone. My wife gets irritated at me cause the phone rings and I wont go answer it. She says it might be important. I say if it is they will leave a message lol.

I am trying to figure out what he was doing parked where he was

I have been fueling aircraft for 35 years here in GRB , 10 years as line manager

Both fuel ports or single point hookups on those two aircraft are in front of the right wing where it meets the fuselage

However the way both aircraft are parked and maintaining 5 foot safety distance outside the diamond maybe he couldn’t safely get in there around that wing to get to the fuel panel

Plus all the safety interlocks on these trucks for the brake system is pretty incredible when hoses are pulled and pto systems / deadman controls plus we have to chock the tires while fueling

Something had to happen with that truck or maybe a medical condition ?

Man this will be a topic next week at work

I just hope that truck driver is OK Honestly !!!!

One more thing guys

Cell phones are not allowed in the fuel trucks or out on the ramps - Fire safety

Kept inside the hangars only

How quickly we forget after being retired for 5 years, you are correct! But yet you'll see dip$h!ts using them at the gas station while they pump their cars all the time.
