Greetings,
I recently joined the A and E body forums, and while thinking about an introduction for those sites, I realized I never did one here.
So here it is.
My name is Mark, and I am 56 years old, I have been working in the automotive industry since I was 15.
I started as a body shop painter's helper, where I grew up in OKC.
I moved to Denver and worked for my Brother in his shop as a Mechanic.
I ended up owning that Business (in my early 20's) and running it into the ground.
After that epic failure, I worked a couple of odd mechanic jobs before moving to California.
In Cali, I worked as a dealership wrench (mostly GM) for several years.
Then, I managed a used car recon department, an auto auction mechanic shop, a restoration shop, and a dealership collision center.
During the recession years, I ended up going back to wrenching (at 46 years old) working on motor homes and GM medium-duty trucks.
I am currently working as a Technical Support Specialist for medium-duty trucks, mostly supporting DPF, SCR, and GM V8 gas engines.
I have owned several Mopars over the years.
My first (at 16) was a GY9 72 charger SE 4002BBL with a white interior and top.
Other cars owned-
70 B3 Charger.
70 B5 Charger.
69 TX9 GTX.
70 TX9 T/A Challenger.
I don't want to bring out the pitchforks, so; I won't mention the atrocities committed to these vehicles.
Currently, own a GY8 72SE; photo garage posted here.
