Hello B Body Members,

I have been a proud owner of a 1970 RT Charger (U Code / column shift auto) since 1984.

BACKGROUND:
The car was given to me by the original owner, my uncle in 1984. When I was given the car, it needed a paint job and LOTS of TLC. I did drive the car some during high school and loved taking it to the local drag strip. At that time the car needed more time and money than I had to make it a reliable daily driver so, it sat in my parents garage for many years.

During college I ended up buying a 1968 Camaro ( I know :poke:) because it was cheaper to restore and there was an abundance of after market "go fast" and NOS parts. Now that I have finally sold all my other cars, I have decided to restore my Charger. I have seen some beautiful restorations on here and hope to get some guidance on my project. My goal is to have the car restored as a real nice driver and NOT a trailer queen.

Thanks in advance for all help and guidance.

Below is a picture of my car in 1971.
