Thinly spread on warm buttered toast....mmmmm....excellent flavour.
Grated Tasty cheese on top and lightly grilled.......Most people put it on way too heavy and puke up.
Marmite, cheese & lettuce sandwiches....a Kiwi favourite.
A spoonful or two of marmite in stews, casseroles, meat sauce for bolognese and roast meat gravy....adds another dimension to the taste.

I also have been known to smear it on Barrier Arm poles to stop wankers swinging on them when they're drunk. Vaseline also works for that deterrent....makes a mess of a drunken Accountants suit. :D

If anyone wants to talk about nasty foods - drinking Root Beer has to be up there - now that stuff is nasty. :poke:

We can't agree on everything though Kiwi. I love root beer floats, especially made with cheap root beer and cheap ice cream!
 
My morning was interrupted by the desire for some Marmite on buttered toast. Might have a couple of slices with Marmalade after that.

Sparingly!

Trying Vegemite is a must-do cultural experience for international travellers but many make the mistake of layering it too thickly.

Or, even worse, eating a lump off a spoon, which not even Aussies could stomach.

Most Australians will tell you that you only need to add a very light layer to your buttered toast or crackers. This is more than enough to give you that wonderful flavour.
