So this doesnt apply to my Plymouth but I found an 03 Cummins that has rocker rust behind the doors, doors look good. I wanted to cut out the rust and adhesive some new panels with Eastwood glue and rust encapsulation paint. Good idea? Good practice for the Plymouth I guess. Any tips? Self tappers or rivets? I'm going to bedline over it. So no paint.

I talked to my buddy that has a big body shop. He said that they are doing more&more with a 3M product called Panel Bond
As long as you are attaching clean metal to clean metal the bond will be permanent.

Been a body man going on 30 years now. The best bet is to weld them in. If you are dead set on glueing, look at lord fusor108b. It is far stronger than the 3m panel bond
