Greed? I sold these for my 84 year old widowed mother, she will get the sale from this...
GREED always has to get the best of people!!
Yeah, and he could've also donated them to a museum with a TAX write-off and not said a thing! So what's your point? He could have tossed it all and never said a thing......

Oh FFS, Jon. The man was just trying to help his mother out with a little extra cash.
And now it will get posted to the internet so ALL of us Mopar guys and gals will benefit from it. Not to mention that Doug is one of the most respected historians of the Mopar hobby and he will do what's right by these documents.
Sheesh man, relax.
Because some people can’t READ!WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!?!
That being said, pretty cool stuff.

The seller and I spoke in great detail about everything yesterday(including friends, family, etc.) and oddly enough... The term caretaker Was in fact used several times. Most of us here have lost parents, grandparents, siblings, and in some cases Children. God Bless all of our lost loved ones. Anyone that has had to liquidate the estate of a loved one knows that it is a very, very hard thing to do. Sadly, I have been there. You want items to go to the right place and for the right amount. We made what we felt was a fair and reasonable agreement for ourselves and for the history of the paperwork. Everything is and will be in good hands. No worries. The plan is to get it to Chrysler Historical one way or another. Although everyone thinks this stuff is cool, not everyone is willing to part with their hard earned dollars to get it where it needs to be. I was willing to spend the money on it and payed up with the intention of getting it Chrysler Historical.I don't see greed,,,,I see a guy that wants it to go to a better caretaker so all that cool stuff might get displayed. We don't know who bought it but I hope at least copies go to the registries!

@69Coronetrt You said you would likely be the one to scan. Do you own the site? If you would prefer to own everything...I’m perfectly fine with that. Start a conversation and let’s make that happen. If not... Donations from other members are gladly accepted!! Sadly, my new found wealth from selling Yardsticks here did not cover the asking price of the documents.
That dude is pissed at the world. Wouldn't take him long to get all bent out of shape if he stumbled across a $100. bill laying on the ground.Did the buyer hack into and pay for this out of Jon's Paypal account.. he seems pretty pissed about someone spending money for others to benefit from!!

One way or another my friend....It’s happening. I told him we’d get it there..and we will. Thank you again @PLMHEMII do not own the site but have scanned and posted a large amount of material. I consider Barry and HH webmaster Mike to be friends.
I've purchased items and scanned or received, scanned, and shipped back to the owners.
I can go either way. If you want me to purchase the items and take possession of them, that's fine.
If you want to own them but would allow me to scan the items and return them to you, that's fine too.
