Seems the one trick he doesn't know, is how to sell his car.

Selling tips 101 - always present your car in a tidy condition....at least make it look like you care about it.

Yes, the patina and his comment...

"I've retained the unrestored condition and look by design including the entire engine externally. I admire originality much more than restored. "

Ah yes, and the rust thru also

Nice car, but not 129 large worth of nice.

I wonder what happened to the rear hood pin brackets?

i thought as i read, i could be interested in that, then i saw 129k and said thats too far apart from reality to even start a conversation

I called on the car the first day it was listed last month.
Owner is a crazy old dude and as rude as they come.

Another unbuyable car for sale.

So....it's had the engine "freshened with new rings, bearings..." Why? With only 16K miles if it's been parked all this time?
Bullllshit!

I have a hundred+ pics from the 1st time I crawled back in the barn to see it, to the day we drug it out and many throughout the servicing process.

Why was it necessary to stupify the car to extract it from the garage? :realcrazy:

You would think for 130 large he could take, what, an hour to vacuum and perhaps clean the carpet. Get a roll of paper towels and some windex and wipe down the dash and interior. Hopefully get the tape and residue off the seats. Let’s face it, this guy has never seen 130k and thus has no concept of it. It’s a shame. That’s a cool car. Also they punched the trunk lock, and no fender tag? WTF?

It's called patina which is all the rage these days. Had he shaken the vacuum cleaner bag all over the exterior, he could have passed it off as a barn find.

I think the odometer rolled over on this one more like 116,000 miles.
