Hello guys! New to the site and just wanted to introduce my project. I just took on a '63 Belvedere Wagon that I'm restoring for my father. Body work is basically done and I just need to reassemble everything and try to find all the parts to put it together.
The car is going to have a streetable version 426 Max Wedge Super Stock engine built by Dom Rinaldi in it. Motor is all complete and ready for installation.
Going to need to find some parts, but have a good portion to get started with.
Look forward to talking to some of you as I progress with the project and may look for some help/suggestion for places to find certain items.
Pictures to come.
Thanks
Chip Taylor

Welcome to the forum from Maryland.

Lightened doors? That's cool.

Welcome from Virginia. I'm also doing a Belvedere wagon, but mine is a 67. I'm thinking alot of the wagon specific pieces are a little easier to find for a 62-65 B body than it is for mine. Still, guessing the window seals for the rear side glass will be a tough one to find. My wagon is in the body shop now, but those rear side glass pieces were the only glass pieces I didn't have removed. I was afraid I would never get seals to reinstall.

I have a '63 Fury vert I restoed...more money into it than it's worth; but it's setup the way I wanted it to be with some more to do (that never stops). Over the years have come to really like the wagons and could kick myself passing on some pretty sweet deals - a '59 Dodge and '63 Plymouth in nice shape to restore. Got a lot of help from fellow members finding parts and getting advice. Welcome.

welcome to FBBO nice looking wagon keep us posted

Looking good welcome from Arizona

I talked to a man at Steele Rubber several years ago and he told me if they had possession of a good OEM gasket they could reproduce it. Call and inquire.

Welcome Chip!

You've come to the right place. Start a build thread if you get the chance.

Yup, Wagons are cool for sure... And your dads is looking great...

I just wish all the weatherstripping & window seals were available... Back in 2010 I started looking for an old Mopar wagon to fix up & use as a daily driver/dog hauler.... I looked at allot of beat junk & wasn't feeling it... Then I started researching parts & was feeling it even less..... Tailgate weatherstripping, back glass & side glass seals & on & on...

Then totally by chance I got offered a brand F two door wagon.... The parts are all available, they are surprisingly good quality & also surprisingly cheap.... It'll never look as good as an old Mopar but my old long roof should still be pretty cool....

Glad your here. Lots of great guys and plenty of help. I too own the 63 vintage. A hard top and a sedan but no wagons.
There is one wagon for sale on the Las Vegas Craigs List now. Tempting but I have no room for it.
