My name is Tom, from Fort Worth. I have a 1971 Chrysler Newport Custom and about a year ago I took the plunge into a hard-loved 1968 Dodge Charger. Someone attempted to turn it into General Lee and it ended up a bit more like Frankenstein! My friend Mike and I have been trying to reverse the damage, and I keep hoping I won't approach Federal deficit levels soon. I have always been a Mopar fan from the late 70's on and have always wanted a Charger. My first car was a 1971 Dodge Coronet(which I think went extinct some time ago, can't seem to find any for sale). Glad to have found this site, and is there anyone out there with a 68 Charger grill they might want to part with, or trade for a 69 grill? That was one of the weird things they did to my 68, to make it look like General Lee. Hope everyone is having fun with whatever Mopar you have. :)

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal - you should place a want to buy or trade ad for the grill you’re seeking. Easier to get the right eyes on the prize.

Thanks, I have been putting it off for awhile, but it is getting closer to paint day now. I will give that a try.

Welcome from Alabama, everyone keeps digging up Chargers and I'm glad. A timeless machine.

Welcome, from one Charger owner to another.

Think about doing some side work, or having lots of Ramin noodles. Chargers are expensive, as you know.
