Dixnt know those had sunroofs. Kind of cool.

The 928 in the vehicle order number confirms it being an original sunroof car. I have an R/T SE sunroof car,but its a major project. 22k isn't unreasonable in the current Charger market. Show up with 20k in cash,I doubt he will let you walk away!

That's out of the price range I would want to pay for a car that likely needs a complete restoration, BUT, we are talking about a 69 Charger, which is pretty much one of the most desirable collector cars that exists. I have seen rusted out body shells going for thousands.

IF it hasn't been overly messed with, it is complete, AND IF the body is fairly rust free (this includes frame rails, areas around the sunroof, doors, etc.), AND IF most of the parts are in nice shape (e.g. the grill which is very expensive to replace), AND IF it is something you really want, then perhaps go for it. It's getting hard to find decent rebuildable cars.

The fenders look like there's something to work with. They'll fit better than anything else. It may be better to patch fenders than go aftermarket.
Chargers are on the upper end of B body prices, for sure. 2 bbl 383 - I'd build that with a 4bbl and better exhaust, loads of potential. Sunroof makes it extra special.

That would be a beautiful car restored......Sunroof 69's are very rare and sought after XP or XS.....Being that the car is complete is a big positive. The price based on the shape of the body as you say is steep....That ultimately depends on what yours plans are for the restoration....

The sunroof and the color combo will be a big attention getter.....A magazine would be all over it.....people like cars today with "oddities"

There is a website for "sunroof" chargers I just cant find it.....

I have no knowledge on Chargers, but it might be worth the asking price to be able to put all the windows down without having to walk a block to the other side of the car, or round the bases in the interior.

I wish I had power windows in all my cars, let alone a sunroof. When I bought my truck, getting a sunroof was a no brainer.

Is that thing power or crank?

What kind of wind can you catch with a giant factory hole in the roof?

You can replace all sorts of body panels, sunroof can't be bought, new anyway.

I believe the member who runs the Sunroof Registry is SD Weatherman. He had a thread on Dodge Charger.com. I don't know if he has any info in this red on red Canadian Charger. I registered my Sunroof Charger on his website.

Looks to be solid. I’d buy it for that price in heartbeat. If it is. Knowing, if you never put an addition dime or time into it. You won’t lose anything if you store it properly. Certain cars retain value. That’s one of them. Worst case scenario, you lose a few grand if it’s left as is. Which I doubt. These opportunities are rarely available to the average person, at the right times. Definitely, worth the gamble.
I know if it was me. I wouldn’t tell a damn soul. Let alone share it in the Internet.

Get under it, and all over it. Rust is the kicker. Clean title ect.....

need more pics. Underneath, all sides of the body. Does it run, move? Frame, floors solid. How is the rest of the body?

If all it needs is lower rear quarter and fender work, I don't think the asking price is that crazy. Make sure all the parts are there and like stated above, the grill is nice. I would try to get it for 20k or less though. A rare optioned car for sure. Check it over extremely well for rust. That will be a very sharp car when restored.

I wouldn’t drag your feet on the car. I would bet that somebody here is trying to hunt the car down as I write this. I would by this car in a heartbeat if I wasn’t over loaded with cars at this time. Assuming they are not hiding anything too significant.

The factory sunroof cars had power sunroof assemblies until 1973,then they were manually opertated, with a crank handle.

If your not thinking about it. Let me know. Is it a lower main land car?
