This video is depressing. You have been warned.

On the bright side, my magazine collection just may be worth something someday.

damn I mark an article in the mags that I thought was interesting or I might need to revisit because it pertains to something I am rebuilding or just a damn good article. WTF now.

I've been unhappy with Car Craft for a while now-it's been getting thinner and thinner but, I wasn't going to give up. I've been subscribing since 1965 and still have all of the issues. Hell, I've got thousands of car rags all sorted and boxed by year.

Lol, what’s funny is this happened last Friday and it’s just making a showing here. It’s been blowing up elsewhere on brand X sites.

What it tells me is we’re all pretty comfortable with FBBO as a source of all things Mopar.

I stopped subscribing to the magazines when over 50% of the pages was nothing but ads. Jeff makes a lot of good points in the video. As he said, he used to write for one so he should know.

Damn, I like paper magazines. My lap top won't stay on my lap while on the shitter. I also like to read in the bath tub.
Mopar Muscle has sucked for a good while. My subscription runs out in May. I wasn't going to renew anyway. I also dropped Mopar Collectors Guide a year ago.
I get better info on the Bodies sites. So no loss here.

Getting back to the video, I feel bad for the magazine employees having to go through the holidays not knowing if they will have a job next year.

Dropped MM and MCG years ago, latter because no tech and no Frank Badalson.

Well, I just watched the video. Other points not brought up, is that magazines didn't feature Edsel cars. It was consistently a 69 red Camaro. Or yet another chevy small block article. So, people who wanted something about maybe a Ford, or, a Mopar never got much ink. So, we finally get brand specific magazines. And they still did the same thing. Mopar mags focused on 68-70 B bodies, and E bodies. Anyone with an early B, 71-up B, or an A body, good luck. Now the magazines have raised their prices so high, I'm not about to spend $8 on a newsstand magazine. And the so called articles are nothing but an ad. Why should I pay for a magazine that is all advertising? Mopar Muscle is the worst for this. So, I can see why this happened. JMO.

I think MM is written by Chevy guys. There are many mistakes any real Mopar guy would not make. I also dropped CG for lack of content and the political rants. My favorite is still Mopar Action!
