Do you ever have strange dreams about your cars?

Dreamt last night that I was driving down the road and noticed that the trans wouldn't downshift and the secondaries weren't kicking in. I kept giving it more gas and no increase in speed so I mat the throttle, rpms come slowly up to 5800 rpm and BOOM...blew the motor.

Next scene I am at Fantom Works garage and the owner is taking some weird measurements on the crank and the only thing I am thinking is "there is no way I can afford to have him fix anything, he's too expensive!"

I use to have dreams about my old 68 Charger but those stopped after I bought my GTX.

LOL, I have dreams about my car all the time. Had one last night, driving around my old high school parking lot looking for somewhere to park where the kids wouldn't screw with it! hahahahaha

I have a reoccurring dream that I rediscover my first car, a 1972 Duster Twister that I had in 1980, in a garage that I forgot about.

It's covered in dust after sitting for decades. It magically fires right up and I take it out for a ride and it runs perfect.

No frozen engine, no flat tires, no electrical problems. No one has taken parts off of it or stole it altogether. I haven't paid rent, taxes, or maintained the garage in decades.

Dreams can be a lot of fun!

Only dreams I have is having a hot girl in the back seat of the cars I used to own. Good times!

I occasionally dream about brake failure in the road runner. Never a crash, but a nightmare of close calls.

I didn't have a choice, just ended up there lmao!! I'd just rebuild it myself but couldn't tell him because he was talking lol.

Had a dream in two parts. One part was: cleaning my car, I found a joint. The other part was: I had a black plastic sleeve one puts around a florescent light to make it into a blacklight. Screwing around, I looked through it and it revealed Aliens flying past in a Jetson looking craft.
The next day, I pulled my car seat and found a Esmaralda. Of course I "eradicated" it, but was afraid to find some of that black plastic and look through it.

I sometimes dream I still had my 1966 Mustang fastback. It's still in crappy shape but it runs. Last night I was in a two-seater go-kart with a friend. He was drifting around corners in a residential neighborhood at 75 mph. It was scary but I trusted him.

when I was racing a lot, I had many strange dreams
some good & some not so good

kept me on my toes, ready for anything (well almost anyway)
when I was behind the wheel thou :poke:

I really don't think I've ever had a automobile related dream. Allot of weird *** strange dreams, but nothing car related.Not that I can remember anyway.

I've been retired for over 10 years now and still have dreams almost every night about being at work. I have no idea why or if it will ever stop.
