Something smells with no VIN ID.
He has a nj title but that car probably already exists as a rebody somewhereSomething smells with no VIN ID.
You should have kept the one you had with the holes in the valve covers! At this point in my life, I'd rather pay 50-60 grand and get one done that needs very little or nothing and start enjoying it immediately. With that heap, you'll still get to the same 50-60 grand price (or more) not to mention the years of time, aggravation and busted knuckles.

It either sold already or it was a scam when I do a search for it on Craigslist it doesn’t come up.
Stupid question but bare with me.....How or can you remove the VIN tag with the windshield still in and it looks as if the windshield is still in place
If the seller produces a Title and the VIN indicate its what its advertises to be and you find numbers on the body that match the VIN, its a real GTX?If you strip everything out of the dash frame while it's in place, you could probably drill or grind out the bottoms of the rivets from underneath.
However, on that heap, the dash is out out of the car and the windshield is just set in place.

I admit im suspect about no fender tag and especially the removed VIN.
Before my car left for stripping and body work, I removed the fender tag. The dash was out and being sent out to be blasted and I removed the VIN.
I kept both in a safe place until I got the car back
You know....your not the ONLY Richard Cranium on here
I do not.....maybe more than me , maybe less than me. But I do know that I've had my hands and tools on thousands yes thousands of cars trucks bikes and engines over the last 30 plus years and I know that I am coming to the end of my road with this hobby. Most days I could care less what's in my garage. Other days I love it. So I knowYou have no idea what I have built, do you?
