Dreamcatcher's thread about finding a bike made me think about a bike I bought and sold. It was a 1,300 mile Honda I sold on eBay to a guy in Mexico. It ran well, but needed paint, seat, tires, etc. It was my first sale of something that expensive going out of country.
Then I got an email with subject line above, all in Caps. Uh-oh...

This is a '70 CB350 that my friend's son inherited. Had been in storage for 20 plus years. Him and I worked on it this summer. Cleaned up nicely, runs great!

Very Nice... Cool bike to start with & nice restoration...

I had a 69-twin like that, maybe two years old when I got it. I really liked it I took it on a roadtrip across Western Canada but only made it 350 miles and the rectifier burned up. Had it replaced in Regina Saskatchewan. Another 350 miles and I felt it going again. I was riding with a buddy who was on a 72 Suzuki WaterBuffallo. We pulled over And I said to him; " the next bike shop we hit, I'm trading this lil sweetheart off.
Next morning we came to Tabor Alberta, and lo and behold there was a Suzuki shop there. A couple of hours later I was sitting astride a brand new 1975 Water Buffalo. And no more buzzzzzzzzzing along at 60mph, laying on the gastank with my feet dangling off the rear signals. I miss her sometimes..... not.

'75 CL360 Scrambler, same as a CB360, except with high pipes, moto bars, & enduro tires.

I'm gonna sell this one though.

^^^^^^^^ I had a 71 CB 350 Scrambler back in 75. Then a Honda 400F. I traded a 70 340 4 speed Duster for it.

I still have a '72 CL360 with 2,000 miles.
I offered it as a straight trade to a guy with a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine with no title. Still waiting to hear.

That's a great looking bike!! I had a few friends that had them and one friend that still rides his 750. They were almost bulletproof and the look is timeless.

I have a 1974 Honda 750 sitting in my garage that's in need of a little TLC.

My first street 'legal' bike was a 71 Honda 350SL and wouldn't mind having another. Second street legal was a 81 Honda 750 CB Custom. It too was a great bike. Seems like anything with a '1' in the year was good for me....

The first KZ 9 I rode had a big bore kit and other stuff added. Took off easy (but not real easy) in 1st and 2nd and rolled the throttle back in 3rd and it lifted the front wheel. At that point I knew the thing was a bear! Man, it was crazy nuts!

My first motorcycle, borrowed for about 4 months from my friend/employer...
What a way to start!

dadsbee, you are right there. The real Honda MiniTrail bikes from the 70's bring big bucks. My neighbor bought new a 72 MiniTrail 70 and only put 6 miles on it. I tried to buy it about 20 years ago but he wouldn't sell. He had a bunch of cars too. He passed away this summer and his wife commissioned a local classic car dealer to sell off his collection.I heard he was asking $6,000 for the bike.

Frequently raced a friend with a KZ900 that had a header. My H2 750 would outrun him in the 1/4.
Right at the end of the 1/4, he would blow by me like I had hit the brakes, and it would keep climbing.
