Need some suggestions on 60' times 73 RR

What shocks and springs? How do you have your torsion bars set? Pinion angle? PSI in slicks? How much does the car weigh? What have you done to get weight off the front of the car? I've done a 1.66 60 foot with probably 75-100 less HP and with little 255 drag radials. If I'm in the high 1.70s I can feel it spinning.

It is not wheel spin. I know my carb is just about junk. When I had the engine on the dyno I gained almost 20hp using the dyno 800 carb. It is not bogging down either. I would hate for it to be the TQ converter as you said its a pita to change and expensive to replace. When the weather blows over Im going to look at he rear end barrings to see if there might be play on one side, as one of my tires is wearing quite a lot on the inside.

Mopar performance Super stock springs/ Mopar performance rear shocks. Running 14- 16 psi in tires, Torsion bars are set to factory spec. No idea of pinion angle, I didnt install the rear dif.

Word on the street is that the initials stand for Total Crap Inside.
Agreed. I have had lots of problems with the trans... I still have the 2-3 shift lock up problem if Im not on the gas. I spoke with copes and he sent me a reducer to install between the valve body and the case that helped alot but didn't fix the problem 100%.

When you had the trans redone, did you inspect, or at least flush the converter? Trans garbage will get pumped into the converter. Have you checked what flash stall you have?
(There is a very good series of you tube videos from hughes about converters. I especially recommend the one that explanes converter stall, and how it is adjusted. You will learn some things, i did. I think they have something like six videos.)
Edit:found it, search ep 5 torque converters 101 what is stall speed?

I had originally bought the Hughes 24-25HD converter, When the TCI trans crapped out, to keep the TCI warranty, I sent the converter back to Hughes and had them go through it. While they had it open, I asked the to upgrade me to a 3500 stall. The weather is crappy out, so I cant go see what the flash stall is. When I foot braked at the lights it would brake the rears loose at 3000.

So....... 2.2-2.5 60’ times with a 3000+ converter...... and it’s not spinning at all?

It’s hard to imagine a scenario where you could take the combination of parts that is your car, and end up with that situation.

You say the carb is junk.
See if you can borrow one that isn’t junk..... see what happens.

I’m back to feeling like I’d need to see several launches on video.
Something where you can hear what the motor is doing at the hit.

A stock 360-4bbl with those gears and slicks would 60’ better than that.
