383 Engine troubles! Need some guidance please

If you'd be interesting in trading out that engine at some point, let me know. I'm trying to find a date correct 383 HP for my 68 Road Runner. I can bring you an engine core, 383, 400, 440, your choice and let you keep the truck pieces along with some money for your trouble if it's the right dates.

I would definitely be interested in trading out the motor. Where are you located?

look down below his name and "new member"
check the rubber and the filter in the tank'
blo out the fuel line
then do the pump rod - carb etc
you do have a fuel pressure gauge at the carb- right?

I’m in Tennessee, which is a little far, but I’ve met folks halfway and tailgate swapped engines before.

Had the exact same problem, fuel sock clogged. Found a rag in my tank and I suspected some Chevy guys!!
